Privacy Policy

Kari Garden is a garden and farm management app run by Karismah Studios in Nigeria. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We follow the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

What we collect

• Account: your email address and an encrypted password.
• Your garden: garden name, country, state and town, soil type, crops, planting dates, tasks, journal notes and photos, and harvest records, including any amounts you enter for sales.
• Notifications: if you turn them on, a technical address for your device so we can send reminders.
• Usage: simple events such as opening the app or finishing a task, so we can see whether the app is useful. We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• Feedback: anything you send us through the feedback form.

Why we use it

To run the app: show your garden, create tasks and advice, send reminders you asked for, and improve the product. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

Data is stored with our service providers Supabase (database and photo storage, hosted in Frankfurt, Germany) and Vercel (app hosting). Your photos are private and only visible to you.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, your garden data and photos are deleted.

Your rights

You can see and edit your data in the app, delete individual entries, and delete your whole account at any time from More, then Delete my account. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, withdraw consent, or complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
